Girijyothi College is managed by Girijyothi Educational and Charitable Trust of CMI, Carmel Province, Muvattupuzha. CMI’s run thousands of well branded institutions in India and abroad. It is the latest addition to the Higher Educational Institutions of the CMI congregation, particularly to the Carmel Province. The College is run by CMI fathers, who were the first ever indigenous religious congregation for men in the Syrian Catholic tradition in India. Their founding father, St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, lived in the 19th century.
